This lot consists of a vintage semi marbleized yellow amber ribbed Bakelite tube for carving. It measures just over 8-¼ inches long and has an interior size of 2-½ inches. The tube measures 3-1/8 at its widest point and 5/16 of an inch at its thickest point. The tube tested positive for Bakelite in a Simichrome test. This was salvaged from an old bowling trophy so there are a series of holes drilled into on side (4 sets of 2 holes) where the plaque was set but there is plenty of material left to cut 12 to 14 half inch bangle bracelets out of the tube. Besides the drill holes the rest of the tube is in good general condition with minimal surface wear and no cracks or big surface scratches.
