The artistry on these earrings is just beautiful ~ the copper beneath the enamel is delicately etched to show the veining on the leaves, and it shows through the translucent deep red enamel. The design is further complemented by another heavier layer of black enamel along one edge of each leaf. Two copper beads and a curled copper stem add the final accents to the design. The earrings are in very good vintage condition with no issues and the enamel has no chips, crazing or damage whatsoever. The earrings measure 1" in diameter and the pair weighs 15 grams. They are signed "Matisse" with the copyright logo, seen on Matisse jewelry made between 1954-1964.Thank you for viewing my item!
