This large brooch is designed as a stylized Cross or Ankh. This shape is also known as the Key of the Nile, the Looped Tau Cross, and the Ansated Cross. It was an Ancient Egyptian symbol of life. Sometimes given a Latin name if it appears in specifically Christian contexts, such as the crux ansata ("handled cross"). The brooch may also be worn as a pendant. There are abundant rhinestones in colors of Purple, Green and White. Each piece contains a Dragon's Breath art glass stone and every movement captures the bright blue veil as it shimmers over the reddish brown stone, seeming to be alive. I have included many photos below. The set is in Mint condition with no signs of wear. All stones are present and shining brightly and all parts work properly. The set is unmarked and quite unique. Measurements: Brooch – 3-1/4 inches tall and 2-1/4 inches wide; Earrings – 1 inch in diameter. Most of my jewelry is vintage and pre-owned.
