This set is so very exquisite. The crystal clear pronged chatons lay on the top and are so very shinney and clear. No dead, dull or cloudy stones in the entire set noted. The Brooch is made up below the clear rhinestones of beautiful pronged hematite navettes. The pattern is surely another one of D&E's ingenuity in color and patterns. It is set in silvertone and the silvertone is all intact. No wear or tarnish. You will see lots of puddling and figure 8's and a free flowing roll over clasp that is in great working order. The matching earrings are adorned in similarity with their own clear pronged chatons and hematite navettes. They are in silvertone also with figure 8's and the typical D&E clip back. The clips are tight and in good working order. This set would look simply gorgeous on a winter white dress or suit or actually for any time of year or occasion.
