These little guys were advertised by Trifari in 1949 as a part of their "Woodland Fantasies" series. They are marked on one wing TRIFARI with the crown on it and PAT PEND on the other wing. They  are gold plated base metal with the most gorgeous teal/aqua colored glass cabochon bellies. Their heads and lower torso have pave set clear rhinestones. Wings are clear diamond shaped rhinestones. The camera makes the clear stones look yellow and dark but they are clear in person.
