The brooch is huge: it measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/8". The center black insert measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". Safe clasp. The brooch is in very good condition except for a small chip on the back side of it (couldn't be seen when wearing).  Guaranteed to be vintage bakelite (tested with 409 and simichrome). This brooch will not disappoint the avid Bakelite collector. No reserve!
