It is also quite unusual as it has golden yellow Bakelite marblette round beads that are interspersed with tiny translucent cherry red Bakelite beads. From the center there are five Bakelite pendants, the centers of which are also translucent cherry red Bakelite. All of the center beads, beginning where the pendants start, have filigree metal bead caps as do the end beads nearest the original vintage spring and ring closure. We had never seen translucent Bakelite before and therefore simichrome tested it to be certain and it is Bakelite. The necklace measures 17.5 inches in total length and the pendants each extend 2 inches. Place a Bid!
