Description
RARE Eisenberg 70's Enameled Owl Parure Very Nice Gorgeous Eisenberg parure, rare to find, and in excellent/mint condition! Enameled or Cloisonne' finish on all pieces, with fine lines of polished gold accenting the pattern. Inspired by pop artists such as Andy Warhol and Peter Max, these pieces have great historical interest. First we have the magnificent 3 3/8" owl, very heavy with heavy 21" chain. I'm going to call this mint, as I have examined this closely with a loupe--the high points have not a bit of wear and there is no signs of use that I can discern. 5 ounces of pure beauty!! The bangle style cuff bracelet is hinged and has an insert clasp, with safety chain. With a loupe I can detect some very slight evidence this was ever worn. Not visible to the naked eye. Good hinge, clasp and chain. A magnificent piece, weighing about 3 ounces. 3/4" wide band. It's oval in shape and 3" outside measurement. A wonderful piece. To complete the parure, a pair of clip earrings. Very minty, I see no damage. 3/4 ounce, the pair. These are truly collector's items, even museum quality. All are marked with the C in a circle and the block E that Eisenberg used during this period. I could not find another owl necklace on the internet, and the bracelet, in different colors, sells for up to $110. Beautiful set, just magnificent! Any spots or darkened places or anything that appears to be damage is just camera glare or poor photography. Buyer agrees to contact seller within three days to say method of payment.
