Description
1920s to 30s Vintage HUGE 4in. DeROSA or EISENBERG Pendant! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Welcome to Susan B Jewels! Check back often to see more Rhinestone Pieces being listed weekly, and thanks for stopping by! I have decided to sell my entire Vintage Costume Jewelry Collection in exchange for another investment. For those of you who know me, you know I have a vast collection of many higher end pieces. Therefore, you will want to check my other listings as I will be listing every piece on Ebay! I will keep reserves as low as possible in order to sell everything. Sad to see them go, but maybe in the future I will begin collecting again. This auction is for a Very Rare Piece. I have never seen another one like this in all my years of collecting. This has to be a DeRosa or Eisenberg Piece, or someone of similar Quality. This is a Massive Piece, measuring a full 4-1/4? wide. There are numerous colors and types of stones that have been prong set. The Large Pastel Yellow carved Stones are in the center of 3 center focal points. They are surrounded by Cabochons and Teardrops of Coral, Turquoise, Ruby Red, Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue, Aqua Blue, Purple, and Deep Amber colors. The Colors are Truly Exquisite! Above the three focal points, there are hand set Rhinestones, and above that at the top, there is a Huge Amber Glass Faceted Stone that is open backed for ultimate color. I cannot stress enough the Quality of this piece. It?s very thick and ?weighty?, which is always a sign of High Quality. You?ll know what I mean when you feel it. This piece is of the highest quality without doubt. There are two loops on the back, for either wearing with a chain or perhaps to sew on a dress or jacket. In the early 1900s, Eisenberg didn?t sign their work. They made many very large pieces of jewelry that were sewn onto pieces of clothing so that women would want to buy the clothing. This could be an Eisenberg, although unsigned. It also reminds me of DeRosa, who made some of the highest quality jewelry, with lots of color. I?m sure it was made by a High Quality Designer, and wish they would have signed this. I have treasured this Piece and kept it clean and under glass for years.
