Description
krazy4mykatz store                 Lot of Vintage Costume Jewelry Schiaparelli Jomaz Hobe DescriptionThis is a large lot of 64 vintage costume jewelry pieces from the 1930s all the way up to the 1990s, however, the majority is mid-century pieces of 40s, 50s, 60s.  I counted sets as one except for the Ciner bracelets which I counted as 4 separate pieces as they all had different marks from different years even though they are very similar.  About 80% is signed and there are some of the biggest names in the lot including:SchiaparelliHattie CarnegieMiriam HaskellHobeHAR - HargoKramerLisnerCinerJomazSoretto GiovanniAJCMarvellaMonetNapierTrifariCoro and Corocraft - the eagle is marked SterlingSandorSarah CoventryAvon - KJL for Avon and Smithsonian for Avon pieces as wellGerry'sNew York & Co.There are NO RANDOM CLIP-ON EARRINGS AND NO RANDOM BEADS!  All the beads are signed except for the pink ones which are made of a heavy glass or ceramic high quality material.  I do not like when seller pad out lots with tons of clip-ons even when they are signed so I did not do that here.  All the earrings in this lot have a necklace or brooch that belongs to it, making sets, parures, demis, whatever term applies, I can't get that straight.  All of the pieces are in good to very good to even excellent condition but these are vintage and there will be wear, most on the backs.  A couple of the dog figural pins have wear to the finish.  The eagle has a wear spot on the enamel.  The Schiaparelli has wear to the gold wash on the back.  I did not note any missing stones but I cannot swear there were never any replacement stones put in any of the pieces, I did not notice anything off however.  There is a set in its original box, unsigned, but I took it to be a wedding set or prom set, definitely a gift set and quite beautiful, which I will send in its box.  I believe the crystal rhinestone collar is an unsigned Eisenberg and it is spectacular in real life!  Expert workmanship, so it could also be Juliana or Weiss.  The round pin with the amber and crystal baguette stones is also unsigned and also of expert workmanship, clearly and unsigned masterpiece.  A couple of pieces are book pieces, and several of the pieces should be book pieces!  The Schiaparelli is in a photo by itself as are the Ciner bracelets.  The 4 Ciner bracelets are quite rare.  The Coro horse head is a book piece, but is does show some wear.  The purple Coro thermoset is shinier and more spectacular than the pictures show.  Actually, that is pretty much true of all the pieces!  All clasps and closures seem to work just fine.  I don't think you will find a better lot of vintage costume jewelry on eBay right now!  Words and pictures do not do it justice! This will ship at $9.00, in the US, insurance is included in that amount, and you will get it fast! Please see our other auctions for more fantastic vintage jewelry!  We do combine shipping whenever possible!  Shipping PayPal is preferred!
