The brooch is two tiered and features a large multi faceted watermelon stone emitting a rainbow of vibrant colours such as fuchsia, purple, violet and sapphire. Surrounding this amazing large centre stone are amethyst coloured navettes, purple, light amethyst, fuchsia and pink hued aurora borealis chatons. The bottom and framing tier consists of the same purple, light amethyst, fuchsia and pink hued aurora borealis chatons. The colours in all the watermelon stones are extremely vivid. The back reveals shiny gold plating, built in pin assembly, figure 8 puddling of solder and there is a bail included so that it may be worn as a pendant as an option. All consistent with D & E construction elements. One watermelon earring is very very slightly peppered. The brooch measures 2 1/4" X 1 3/4". Earrings measure 1 1/2" X 1".
