Hallmarks for Birmingham 1876. The hinge needs a repair. There is a hole on the front which could be filled. On the back there is a name lightly scratched in the silver. It needs to be polished out. The front and sides are gilded. There is wear to the gilding and the back cover has no gilding left at all. It is sold as is and measures approx. 1-7/8" long and 1-1/4" wide.
