Description
Exceptionally fine antique Lapis & Gold Locket, dating to the late Victorian period, circa: 1890.  The antique Locket is 14K Yellow Gold, oval and scalloped, set with a rich, deep blue Lapis stone in its center; the stone with some gold flecks.  Beautifully made and of exceptional quality.  The Locket is fairly thick in profile.  On the inside is a two-sided Locket where you would place photographs or hair momentos.    One of the original bezels is still present and intact.   The back side of the Locket is flat and plain gold.   The Locket is hinged on the side and closes tight!  Measures 7/8" long and could be worn as a Pendant as a Necklace or a Charm on a Charm Bracelet.  Is in very beautiful, very fine condition!   Shows very well in the photos and even prettier in person!  Scroll down and across to view all photos.   Please note that late 19th century jewelry, for the most part, was not marked by carat. Therefore, this item has been assayed to determine it's carat.      For payment we prefer PayPal (with confirmed address), though we also accept money orders, personal checks in U.S. dollars, Visa and MasterCard.  See Payment details for more information.  Pennsylvania residents add 6% sales tax. Shipping, handling and insurance additional.  Shipping prices vary according to location.   Please read Seller's Return Policy and Seller's Payment Instructions before bidding.  Thank you!   Sorry, Bids from bidders without feedback will be blocked.              W12
